No matter how old you are, the Disney parks are the most magical places on Earth and the magic will never ever die. We talk through some of the best things you can do as an adult visiting the Disneyland Paris park.
Enjoy the Entertainment
There are lots of things to do at Disneyland Paris when it comes to entertainment. From the character parades throughout the parks to the Studio Tram Tour and the Stunt Show that takes place almost daily in the Walt Disney Studio park, you can rest assured that you’ll not run out of things to enjoy. Also, you are never too old to enjoy the magical fireworks show at Sleeping Beauty’s Castle!
Believe it or not, not all the rollercoasters at Disneyland Paris are for the kids. There are plenty of rides available for the thrillseekers, such as Crush’s Coaster, Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, the Rock’n’Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith and many many more.
The parks themselves are filled with gourmet restaurants dotted around. The Moroccan themed restaurant Agrabagh Cafe in Adventure Land is ideal for adults, and Bistrot Chez Remy the French-Bistro themed restaurant based on the film Ratatouille in Walt Disney Studios is also another good pick. You can also dine in any of the Disney hotels around the resort, all of which have different themes.
Take Plenty of Selfies!
You didn’t go to Disney if you didn’t get a picture alongside any characters! There is character meets dotted around both parks, from Star Wars to The Jungle Book you can get a picture with any of your favourites. If you want to meet a Disney Princess you can visit the Princess Pavilion. The sign outside will tell you who’s inside at that time. You can also usually find Minnie Mouse outside her house near the entrance to the park. And of course, pay a visit to the Meet Mickey attraction next door to Princess Pavilion to see the main mouse himself!
Party in The Disney Village
The Disney Village plays host to a number of different restaurants and sports bars where you can carry on indulging in the magic into the night. Why not have a meal at Planet Hollywood or the Rainforest Cafe? There is also a McDonalds if you just want a quick bite to eat.
Indulge in the Magic
Disneyland is the perfect place to rekindle love or tighten the bond between friends. Take a trip on the Thunder Mesa Riverboat, cruise around the tracks on Autopia, or just go for a walk around the French countryside. The park is beautiful, kept clean, and there’s a surprise around every corner! If you’ve got time, why not hop on the Disneyland Railroad train that takes you around the entire park? You will see things from the tracks that you wouldn’t necessarily see from the paths around the park.
The Disney Illuminations show that takes place every evening is a must see. There is something truly special about seeing that castle lit up with your favourite childhood characters!
